Workflow - fully automated workflow: From sample crucible to GC-MS/MS detection:1. Crucible retrieval: Take crucible with sample out of special PAL3 stack with custom gripping tool. 2. Oven loading: Open the lid and place the crucible on the quartz platform. 3. Pyrolysis: Close the oven door, lock pneumatically and start pyrolysis controlled by PAL3. 4. Sorbent collection: Collect pyrolysates on PDMS sorbent via heated transfer line. 5. Liner transfer: Transport the OPTIC liner with PAL RTC into the OPTIC injector. 6. GC-MS analysis: Thermal desorption, GC separation and MSD / Triple quadrupole detection. |
